Tony Reese

Vice President and Treasurer

Tony Reese was named vice president and treasurer in October 2019. In this role, he has oversight of the treasury and corporate forecasting functions for WEC Energy Group.

In addition, Reese has served on the Illinois Senior Project Team since 2015, and on the WEC Energy Group Investment Trust Policy Committee since 2018.

Reese previously served as controller for WEC Energy Group’s Illinois companies, with responsibility for accounting, budgeting and forecasting for Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas. He also supported the president of the Illinois utilities and leadership team in a financial capacity.

Since joining the company in 2006, Reese has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility within the finance organization. He served as manager – financial planning and analysis from 2011 to 2015, and was appointed to the controller role a few months after WEC Energy Group was formed in 2015.

Reese earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lakeland College and his Master of Business Administration with a focus in financial strategy from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He is a certified public accountant.
