Annual meeting attendance requirements and guidelines


Our annual meeting is open to all WEC Energy Group stockholders. If you are a stockholder and want to attend the meeting, you must pre-register and then present your government-issued photo identification at the door after which you will receive an admission ticket.

Stock held in “street name” through bank or broker

If your shares are held in “street name” through an intermediary, such as a bank, brokerage firm or other nominee, and you want to attend the meeting, in addition to the pre-registration requirement, send us proof of share ownership, such as a bank or brokerage firm account statement, a copy of the voting instruction card provided by your broker, or a letter from the broker, trustee, bank or nominee holding your shares to:

Pre-registration processing

Requests to pre-register must be received no later than five business days before the meeting, and are processed in the order received. If we cannot confirm you are a registered stockholder or beneficial owner, we will contact you for more information.

Admission tickets will be available for pickup at the meeting. You will be asked to check in upon entry into the R. John Buuck Field House and present a government-issued photo identification card, such as your driver’s license, state identification card or passport before receiving the admission ticket. We will then verify your name against our stockholder list. If you own shares in the name of your broker, bank or other nominee (“street name”), you should bring proof of share ownership with you to the meeting. If we cannot verify that you are a stockholder, it is possible that you may not be admitted.

The meeting begins promptly at 10 a.m., Central time. Check-in begins at 9 a.m.

Attendance guidelines

  • We reserve the right to inspect all items, including handbags and briefcases, prior to admittance.
  • You will receive a meeting agenda upon check in.
  • Stockholder questions and comments related to our business will be addressed only during the question-and-answer portion of the meeting. To speak, go to the nearest microphone and wait to be recognized before speaking. State your name before asking your question. Questions from the floor will be limited to three minutes to provide an opportunity for as many stockholders as possible during the allotted time.
  • Use of cameras, recording devices and other electronic devices will not be permitted during the meeting except by those we employ to provide a record of proceedings. Please silence all cell phones and other electronic devices.
  • No firearms or weapons will be allowed in the meeting facilities.
  • No signs, banners, placards, handouts or similar materials will be allowed on meeting premises.
